Quantum Biology: The Quantum Energy in Humans
Before we start, here’s a quick refresher on quantum physics.
→ Quantum physics studies what happens at the subatomic level.
→ At the subatomic level, everything is connected by quantum fields.
→ The space between atoms, the space between magnets, the space between you and the wall in front of you — all of this “space” is filled with resting energy.
→ Humans can only see 0.0035% of this is energy; the other 99.9965% is invisible, but available to us.
So the question is: What if we could access more of this energy?
What if, instead of 0.0035%, we could access 0.0036%? or 0.36%? or 36%? What if we could make use of this abundant energy around us?
It turns out, this may be possible…

Bio-Antennas: Molecules that Convert Energy
The human body has built-in features to harness energy from the quantum field.
Two such features are biophotons and bio-antennas.
What Are Bio-Antennas?
Bio-antennas are molecules that convert UV light into usable energy (PMID: 36859551)
Bio-antennas were originally discovered in plants, but Solis et al discovered that light-harvesting molecules exist in humans as well (Nature, 2007).
After some controversy, Herrera et al reviewed the study and confirmed that bio-antennas not only exist… but they can generate 90% of the energy required for life (PMID: 25645910).
In short, bio-antennas help humans convert UV light into usable energy.
__
All that energy you can’t see, the 99.9965%? Bio-antennas can translate that energy into usable form (PMID: 36859551).
What Are Biophotons?
Biophotons are photons (light particles) emitted from living things.
Plants, animals, and humans — all living species emit light in the form of biophotons.
The cool part: our bodies can easily convert biophotons into energy.
→ Biophotons can increase the rate of cell division by up to 30% — significantly higher than what is possible with ordinary light. (MIT, 2012)
→ Biophotons can support neural communication, especially when exposed to infrared light. (PMID: 20221457)
→ Biophotons can increase cell growth, cell communication and energy uptake in living cells… even when separated by walls of glass. (PMID: 19340303)
__
In short, biophotons are invisible energy particles that power the basic functions of human life.
What If You Had More Energy?
The world tells us to get energy from food and from sleep… but there are many other forms of accessible energy around us.
Every wavelength of light is an energy source that can power the human body.
And if we are only using ~0.0035% of that energy… What could happen if we used more?
In this article on cell theory we explore the cool things your body can do with more energy.
See you there,
