All of these are frequencies, and they are all having an impact on your mind and body.

First, What Is Sound?
As Albert Einstein said, “Everything in the Universe is vibration.”
The atoms in your body, the phone on your desk — even the earth itself — is vibrating at a certain frequency (measured in Hz).
Low frequencies produce low sound — like that of a tuba (16Hz)
High frequencies produce a high sound — like that of a cymbal (10,000Hz)
In general, humans can hear things that vibrate at 20-20,000Hz.
But what does this have to do with healing?
What is Sound Healing?
Sound healing is the belief that certain sounds can influence the behaviour of the body.
🎶 For example, Solfeggio frequencies are a set of sound waves believed to support stress relief (174Hz), DNA repair (528Hz), and cellular metabolism (741Hz).
🎧 There’s also binaural beats — pairs of frequencies that can move our brain waves from the concentrated Beta state (13-30Hz) to the relaxed Theta state (4-8Hz).
But isn’t this all just pseudoscience?
The Science of Sound Healing
More than pseudoscience, many studies have shown that sound has a measurable impact on the brain and body.
🧠 The Journal of Neural Engineering found that that 15 Hz binaural beats can induce the Beta brainwave, improving memory and accuracy.
🧘 Frontiers in Neuroscience reported that the 6 Hz binaural beat can activate the Theta brainwave and induce a meditative state.
🫀 The American College of Healthcare Sciences showed that the 528 Solfeggio frequency can significantly reduce stress on the endocrine and autonomic nervous systems.
🔉 GeoHealth even found that experiencing loud noises can cause disruptions to the heart, lungs and immune system.
🔆 And Dr. Glen Rein found that certain types of music can increase our cell’s UV light absorption — an essential function of human DNA.
Okay… but how does this stuff work?
How Sound Healing Works
In addition to influencing the release of neurotransmitters and modulating brain region activity, sound healing works through the natural law of “brainwave entrainment.”
Entrainment is a phenomenon where 2 objects of different frequencies tend to sync up.
On other words, our internal energy can change to match the energy of the things around us.
In the context of sound healing:
🏎️ High frequency sounds can induce high frequency brain waves — which are supportive for memory and focus.
💤 Low frequency sounds can induce low frequency brain waves — which are supportive for rest and relaxation.
However, it goes even deeper than “high frequencies” and “low frequencies”…
The Law of Resonance: Your Home Frequency
Everything in the universe has an optimal or “resonant” **frequency.
⚡ When an object is vibrating at its resonant frequency, it has more energy.
(This is why glass can shatter in response to certain sounds).
Now here’s the kicker…
👀 According to this paper from NASA, every organ in our body has a resonant frequency.
In other words, we can give our organs more energy by listening to sounds that match their optimal frequency.
With more energy, our body can heal faster, detox faster, and process more information.
